Faith, Patience & Undeniable Signs: Spiritual Lessons From My Move to Vancouver Island

This summer my family and I made the move from Los Angeles, where we had lived for almost 20 years, to Vancouver Island. Change had been on the horizon for quite some time, and it was very clear that now (2025) was the time to act.
One of the most palpable things I experienced during this move was an expansion of my capacity to have faith. While there were so many clear signs and “hellos” from Spirit that this move was aligned for me, there were also some pretty big challenges that showed up, especially throughout July.
For one, there was a very real possibility that my partner and I could have lost both the sale of our home and the sale of the home we were under contract to move into, through no fault of our own. There were sudden changes to our move timeline, and many complications that arose for us to navigate.
Did I feel fear, stress, and anxiety - of course, I’m human! However, each time these feelings and thoughts came up, I knew that they were also invitations and opportunities for me to expand my capacity to have faith, patience, and trust that I was being divinely supported.
Some days it was certainly a process to release the “what-ifs” and the fear, but I new I was being asked to have faith and trust regardless of the thoughts and emotions that were being stirred up within me. In the end, everything went through at the exact right moment - down to the hour, even! And throughout the whole process I received so much physical (and spiritual) support and love; all the pieces of the puzzle of the move fell into place.
I’m taking the ethos of this spiritual lesson and applying it to all different facets of my life; I know that I have the capacity to have more faith and trust than ever before.
I share more about my recent experiences from the heart in the recent YouTube video at the top of this post. If you’re in the midst of a big life transition, or simply feel one on the horizon, I hope that you find some nourishment in what I have to share. 🤍
