Trust yourself and the information you’re receiving. 

Spirit does not operate on a hierarchy. Wherever you are in your journey, you have the capacity to receive information and give healings that can truly benefit others—and yourself.

You have the power to shift and change energy, to help people, and to heal yourself.

Trust is essential in this process.

The Importance of Trusting Your Gifts

The only way to truly trust your connection with spirit—and the information or healing you receive—is to let go of mental chatter. That inner critic, the imposter syndrome, is not you.

Trust from the start, and release the idea that there’s a magical point where you’ll be “ready” or “permitted” to trust.

There’s no hand coming from the sky to point at you, signaling that you are now ready to trust your gifts. There’s no other human who should tell you when to trust, and if anyone claims otherwise, that’s simply not true.

Trust is something you cultivate from the very beginning.

There Is No Hierarchy

Many students who are learning to read energy express the same concern: “I’m not sure I can trust what I receive,” or “I compare myself to others with more experience.”

Yes, those with years of practice may have more experiences or more developed non-physical senses, but spirit does not have a hierarchy.

Meaningful messages are not reserved only for experienced practitioners.

That sense of rank or “level” often comes from human systems—academia, societal structures, or our natural tendency to categorize. Spirit operates differently.

As you move forward on your path, you will gain experience—but in the moment, allow yourself to be a vessel for the healing that is meant to take place.

Sharing Your Gifts Without Judgment

Many beginners hold back from practicing their gifts because they worry:

“I’m not good enough.”

“I don’t know enough.”

“I won’t deliver a meaningful message.”

Who are you to judge the value of the message you give?

Even a simple or general message can be exactly what someone needs to hear. You never know how your words or energy might help someone shift, change, or transform their life.

If you feel a call to read energy, use tarot or oracle cards, give intuitive readings, or study energy healing modalities, that desire is placed in your heart for a reason. You may not see the full picture yet, and that’s okay.

Go do the thing, and trust yourself. You don’t need a permission slip. Your connection and language with spirit will develop and deepen with practice. But even now, you can give meaningful readings and healing sessions.

Beginner’s Mind

Yes, there are levels of knowledge and techniques that we can accumulate. But all of us continuously move through being a beginner, intermediate, and advanced. It’s an infinity loop—you never stop being a beginner in some way.

Maintaining a beginner’s mind allows you to accomplish great things. It keeps you open, curious, and receptive to growth throughout your journey.
